We are once again delighted with the results achieved by our sixth form students. With over 50% of grades at A*-B grades and 80% at A*-C and 100% A*-E we are very proud indeed of all our students achievements. The BTEC qualifications were also impressive with over 95% accessing Distinction or Distinction* outcomes. We are exceptionally pleased that all our young people have accessed their chosen next steps and we wish them every success. Well done.

There are some outstanding individual performances including Samuel McHale who gained 3 A*’s and 1 A and will be studying Engineering at Downing College, Cambridge. Alex Goldsmith gained 2 A* and 2 A grades and will study Physics at the University of Nottingham. Zoe King will be studying Aeronautics & Astro Spacecraft Engineering at Southampton University, having achieved 2 A* and 2 A grades. Michael Edwards gained 3 A’s and is studying for a degree in Commercial Management and Quantity surveying at Loughborough university. A place at Portsmouth University awaits Daniel Welch to study Marine Biology, having achieved 3 A grades.

 

Headteacher Claire Goodchild said "We would like to congratulate all our students on their tremendous outcomes and on securing places at university, apprenticeships and work placements. I would like to thank all the staff for their dedication and hard work in preparing our students for the examinations."
