TEACHER OF ENGLISH
Fixed term for 1 year
Required September 2024
Chelmer Valley High School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented Teacher of English to teach classes across Key Stage 3 and 4. The ability to also teach A level English be desirable. The successful candidate will be fully supported by a large, welcoming, and friendly English Department and joining an excellent teaching team. The post would be suitable for an ECT or a teacher with experience.
You will have a natural flair for delivering creative and vibrant lessons which enthuse and motivate students to want to learn and achieve. You will have excellent communication skills and be enthusiastic about your professional development

Support Staff
COVER SUPERVISOR
30 hours per week, 8.20 am – 3.10 pm, Monday – Friday,
38.2 working weeks per year
Scale 5, Point 9. Actual Salary £17,109.01 pa
Required fixed term until July 2024

We are seeking someone to join our cover supervision team. Cover supervisors are required to supervise whole classes to cover for short term absence of teachers. You need to enjoy working with young people and have a passion for education.
