Chelmer Valley High School currently has a strong and supportive Parent Teacher Association. The committed team of parents work hard on your behalf to arrange fund-raising activities for everyone within the school community.

 Regular discos are held for our younger students and these are always extremely popular occasions. During the last school year, in addition to the two school discos we held a quiz night and Barn Dance, all events were enjoyed by those attending.

 For the forthcoming year we plan to extend the range of events held to include a Winter Ball as well as repeating the popular Christmas disco and quiz night.

 During the last two years we have donated £2000 to the school. This, we know, is put to excellent use and helps to provide those necessary “extras” for all our children. All departments can benefits from our fund raising enabling Staff to buy equipment which may not have been made available through ordinary capitation funding. Such equipment includes Football and Netball uniforms, goal post, Mathematics equipment and monitoring equipment for the Health and Social Care Department.
