What a show! We Rocked!
Everyone in the show worked extremely hard to produce this fantastic musical. The show was a sell out and a great success. If you came to any of the performances I'm sure you will agree Chelmer Valley brought the West End to Chelmsford. None of this would of been possible without the support and commitment of the cast, crew, parents and staff. A big thank you to all.
'Wow, what a performance. CVHS really rocked me tonight, I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of everyone's performance including the band and the CVHS Tech crew. Who needs to go to the West End to see a show when you can watch a show in your own home town that is fun, vibrant, colourful, energetic, beautifully sang together with brilliant character acting from such a young cast. Beccy Chittock from Melbourne Park Primary School says 'We have just attended your show and want to let you know how much the staff and children enjoyed the performance'. 'On a personal note, I have seen the show in London 4 times and I thought the lad who played Galileo was as good as any actor I have seen there. I really enjoyed Meat's solo of Only the Good Die Young. I had a tear in my eye, she has a lovely voice.'
I have had some great feedback which is very encouraging as this was my first production as a Director. Thank you to all who came to watch the show and supported this amazing group of talented youngsters.
