In July 2007 the Physical Education department organised the first Lambourne End Activity Centre trip for the Year 9 GCSE PE and BTEC students. This was a residential trip with a mixture of students camping and using the sites residential block.
The purpose of the trip is to offer students the opportunity to experience activities they may previously not have been able to access. Many of these activities are assessable at GCSE and BTEC level.
Activities include: caving, kayaking, archery, sailing, orienteering and team building activities.
