Le Touquet

In the summer term, all Year 7 students, who have been learning French since the beginning of the year, have the chance to try out there language skills for real. We travel by coach and ferry to the fashionable coastal resort of Le Touquet in Northern France.

Once there, the students work in groups to complete a work book and they are encouraged to use there French to order food in a restaurant, ask the way or buy souvenirs. They discover many interesting differences between England and France.
