KS4

The department offers G.C.S.E. courses in all three languages to students who have studied the relevant language at Key Stage 3. Students benefit from five hours teaching over a two week timetable. Dual linguists are able to study two languages to G.C.S.E. with five lessons in each language. The department is proud of the results that its students achieve at G.C.S.E. with the vast majority of students performing above their predicted grades.

Students continue to develop the four language skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing to a greater depth and all students are entered for either the Foundation or Higher level G.C.S.E. examination.
