1 small banana

200mls of pure apple or orange juice (not squash)

80g of strawberries or blueberries or raspberries or blackberries (choose one or a mixture of fruit)

A leak proof container

400ml of apple or orange juice (not squash)

1 medium sized leak proof container

4 fruit only from the list:

1 red apple 1 banana 6-8 strawberries

74g black grapes 1 kiwi fruit 1 green apple

74g raspberries 74g green grapes

½ tea spoon of lemon juice (added to the fruit juice)

Fruit Crumble- lesson 1

200g plain flour

100g of block/hard margarine

50g granulated sugar

30g of porridge oats (optional)

A medium size freezer bag with name on it

Fruit Crumble- lesson 2

1 tin of pie filling or tinned fruit, such as peaches or apricots (fresh fruit can be pre-cooked, but only at home before the lesson)

A medium size oven proof dish

A piece of foil large enough to cover dish

Container to fit dish

200g Self Raising flour

1 tea spoon baking powder

75g hard margarine (hard block)

50g sugar

75g of dried fruit, such a raisins or 75g glaze cherries or 75g coconut

1 egg

250g Self Raising flour

1 tea spoon baking powder

25g caster sugar

40g margarine (hard block)

A medium size freezer bag with name on it

125 ml semi-skimmed milk

75g sultanas or dried mixed fruit

100g pasta shapes

¼ red sweet pepper

¼ green sweet pepper

2 table spoons of sweet corn

A small piece of cucumber or 1 tomato or 1 spring onion

3-4 table spoons of low fat mayonnaise or low fat dressing of choice

Muffins

1 egg

90 ml semi-skimmed milk

75g soft margarine

3 level tea spoons of baking powder

75g sugar

150g plain flour

9 muffin cases

50g sultanas or 1 small bananas or 50g blueberries

Quick Pizza

1 medium size pizza base

3 table spoons of tomato puree

100g of cheese (this can be made up of any cheese, such as 60g Cheddar cheese and 40g Mozzarella)

Toppings-

1 meat choice (cooked), such as 2 slices of ham or 1 cooked sausage or 100g of drained tuna. Vegetarians can add an extra vegetable option.

Choose 2 vegetables e.g. 2 mushrooms, 2 tomatoes, 1 small onion, ¼ sweet pepper, 2 tbls sweet corn

Garnish – dried herbs, olives

A large container with lid or a tray and a large piece of foil

Fairy Cakes

50g sugar

50g self raising flour

50g soft margarine

1 egg

9 cake cases

Container with lid

Oat Cookies

50g Porridge oats

50g sugar

50g plain flour

50g margarine

1 dessertspoon golden syrup

½ tea spoon of bicarbonate of soda

1 table spoon of milk

Medium size container with lid

Risotto

100g Arborio risotto or long grain rice

1 stock cube (chicken or vegetable)

¾ table spoons of tomato puree

50g peas (fresh or frozen)

50g sweet corn or 1 onion

1 tsp mixed herbs (optional)

1 glove garlic (optional)

150g of COOKED meat e.g. chicken, sausage or turkey (already chopped into bite size pieces)

Vegetarians can add another 50g of vegetables

Prawns may be added, but must be stored correctly. They must be put into the fridge upon arriving to school in the morning.
