All year 2 pupils in our six feeder primary schools (Broomfield, Boreham, Ford End, Great Leighs, Great Waltham and Little Waltham) took part in the first ever Mini Games on Friday 13th June. All events were officiated by our year 10 sports leaders. The events were both competitive and non-competitive. Every school represented a different country that would normally compete in an Olympic Games. Great Leighs represented New Zealand and won the event. To celebrate they performed the Haka. It was a great day at the Chelmsford Sports & Athletics Centre and we look forward to another great event next year. |
