Students from Newlands Spring enjoyed the morning working with the Mindstorm kits, learning how to program their robots with Mrs Anderson, Head of Technology. Year 10 CVHS students worked together with Mr Hannan on projects which used Lego technology to investigate a variety of aspects of Physics. For the full story please go to the news page. |

20 students from Year 9 were invited to the 70th anniversary of Dunkirk. They took part in some of the ceremonies and spoke to some of the veterans who had witnessed first hand the events of that day 70 years ago. |

The first ever CVHS Musical Theatre Showcase was a great success! The students from year 7 to 13 performed pieces from Les Miserables, Wicked, Mamma Mia, Beauty and the Beast, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Sister Act and The Lion King. |

Students from all years took two well known stories by Lewis Carroll and turned them into a magical play with a minimalistic set, made by the gifted and talented art students. The show took place in March and was produced by Jo Dennis and Gemma Peacock. |
