Yr 11 Bianca Hall in Singing Stars Competition

27th November 2009

Year 11 student, Bianca Hall, entered the 'Singing Stars' competition which was open to all school's in Essex run by the Chelmsford Borough council.  School's had to submit a recording of one selected student from any year group.

4 students made it through to the live final on Sunday 22nd November, in the town centre's Tinseltown event and had to perform their song live to an audience of over 3000.  West end star Lee Mead was among a panel of judges who chose Bianca as their winner!

' We are all extremely proud of Bianca's achievement especially after hearing the other finalists sing who were all very talented', said Miss Russell.

' I really can't believe I won. When I entered the competition, I didn't expect to even reach the finals, I'm so happy!' These were Bianca's words when it was announced that she had won.

Well done Bianca!!
