Under the present system, children with older brothers and sisters at Chelmer Valley, attending one of The River Chelmer Partnership Primary Schools or living within our priority catchment area, have priority for the available places. The school will use its Appeals Procedure if a year group is oversubscribed.  To check you are in our priority catchment area please click here.

For mid-year admissions, please download the application form from the Essex County Council website.  Applications need to be sent directly to the school where they will be dealt with in accordance with the School's Admissions Policy.  If you have any further queries, please contact the school.

  • Visit the school during one of our Open Events.  For September 2018 entry our Open Evening is Tuesday 19th September 2017 from 6.30pm - 9.00pm and Open Morning is Thursday 21st September 2017 from 9.30am - 12.00pm.  No appointment is necessary.
