CVHS PARENTS ASSOCIATION 

Friends of Chelmer Valley

Working together to support our school

Chelmer Valley High School has a strong and supportive Parent Teacher Association. The committed team of parents work hard on your behalf to arrange fund-raising activities for everyone within the school community.

During the last year we have donated in excess of £10,000 to the school. This, we know is put to excellent use and helps provide those necessary “extras” for all our children. All departments can benefit from our fundraising, enabling staff to buy equipment which may not be otherwise available.

A few projects the PTA have been involved in:

• Contributions to Year 11 Prom and Year 13 VAL.
• Purchased benches and canopy for playground.
• Contribution to New Rugby Leaders kit
• Contributed to the 4G Football pitch
• Brought new books for the library.
• Brought Adobe Photo Shop
• Contribution to ‘Art of The Week’ calendar
• Prizes at Awards Evening
• Sponsorship of ‘Team of the Year Award’ at Sports Awards
