Proposed Trips/Performances for 2025-2026
Last year over 80% of our student body went on a trip or fixture, which is a fantastic achievement in enhancing the experiences of students here at Chelmer Valley High School
Where given, prices are a guide only, some based on previous same or similar trips and may be subject to change.
Year 7
28th & 29th January 2026 – British Museum – Art – all year 7 - £20
18th May 2026 - Visits to St Mary’s Church during RE Lessons
15th July 2026 – Rewards Day Inflatables onsite – 200 spaces
Theatre Trip – approx. 100 students - tbc
Please note, there may be additional theatre trips depending on ticket availability both at Chelmsford Theatre and the West End
There will also be a range of fixtures across the year for our Sports Teams
Year 8
1st October 2025 - Oliver theatre trip – those who took part on the school production - £52
8th January – Art/Science Natural History Museum – whole year - £25
9th November 2025 - Glee Club performance at Chelmsford Festival of Music, Speech and Drama – for those involved in Glee Club
26th June 2026 (date TBC) – Skills Festival – 200 spaces
June 2026 (exact date TBC) – United in Diversity Conference for Student Leaders
Theatre Trip – approx. 100 students - tbc
Williams F1 Trip – Technology/STEAM trip – January - £11 tbc

3rd September 2025 – Thorpe Park Rewards Trip (students will be aware already if they have been selected for this trip) – 600 students - approx. cost
6th September 2025 – Green Power Challenge – 12 students
1st October 2025 - Oliver theatre trip – those who took part on the school production - £52

19th October 2025 GLEE Club: Boot Camp
9th November 2025 - Glee Club performance at Chelmsford Festival of Music, Speech and Drama – for those involved in Glee Club
5th December 2025 – Harry Potter Studios (Art) – 40 spaces - £50
19th to 22nd January 2026 – DisneyLand Paris (Maths) – 50 spaces - £650
30th Jan – 2nd Feb 2026 - Spanish Trip – 45 students - £690
February 2026 (exact date TBC) - Drama Extra Curricular Performance at Chelmsford Theatre (Drama) – 30 spaces
