Welcome from the Head of Sixth Form

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to our Sixth Form virtual event page. We hope these videos will give you a flavour of our Sixth Form and an insight into our community.

Normally, we would welcome families to our Sixth Form open evening within November. It allows you the opportunity to meet both staff and students and see what our Sixth Form has to offer at Key Stage Five. However, the current situation precludes us from organising such events at the moment.  Our virtual event page will enable you to explore the school through film, images and links to key areas of our website. Although a Virtual Visit cannot replace our usual open evening experience, we hope it will give you a sense of the values-driven education that our students are familiar with and an insight into our ethos and what makes us unique.

As Head of Sixth Form, I am extremely proud of the students and our offering at Key Stage Five.  Above is a video that contains the speech I would have delivered to you all in the sixth form had it been possible.  At 6.30pm on the 11th November 2020, I will be holding a live question and answer session.
