Jermain Defoe Foundation Shoebox Appeal

Chelmer Valley High School once again supported the Jermain Defoe Foundation shoebox appeal supporting vulnerable children in St Lucia and Dominica. The Jermain Defoe Foundation is a UK-based charity whose aim is to help underprivileged children in the Caribbean and the UK.

Miss Woolley who organised the appeal at the school said, “Approximately 140 shoeboxes and nearly £400 was raised for the Jermain Defoe foundation shoebox appeal. The money is going to hurricane Dorian relief in the Bahamas. We are extremely proud of our students and staff!”
