Students who achieved 100% attendance during October were entered into a prize draw for the chance to take part in our fantastic "Trick the Teacher" reward event.

There was plenty of excitement in the air as students gathered to watch. Many of the winners were initially concerned about upsetting their teachers, which showed great empathy and appreciation for our staff. However, once the event got underway, everyone embraced the fun spirit of the occasion and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

A total of 21 winners were selected, with three students from each year group earning the opportunity to throw shaving foam pies at Miss Wicks and Mr Groves, who very generously volunteered to take part. By the end of the event, both staff members were certainly well covered!

The rest of the school community turned out in great numbers to support their peers and enjoy the spectacle. There was laughter, cheering and even a suitably spooky chorus of "boos" as a thank you to the staff involved and to celebrate the students taking part.

It was a fantastic break time, enjoyed by students and staff alike. We look forward to offering more money-can't-buy reward experiences next half term. Remember, you have to be here to be in with a chance of winning, so make every day count with excellent attendance!
