Chelmer Valley High School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented Head of Art.
The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic department and will have experience of teaching Art at KS3, GCSE and A-Level. We are looking for someone who will be prepared to go the extra mile to ensure the best outcomes for their classes and who will be able to deliver engaging and inspiring lessons.
You will have a natural flair for delivering creative and vibrant lessons which enthuse and motivate students. You will have excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence and be enthusiastic about leading others within the Art Department. You will have a track record delivering against clear objectives and long and short term action planning at a curriculum level, including the ability to analyse data effectively.
Chelmer Valley is a popular and oversubscribed, mixed, 11-18 comprehensive with 1200 students on roll. It is an exceptionally vibrant, friendly and supportive community built on strong relationships which allow our student to thrive. Support Staff
TRIPS AND VISITS COORDINATOR
37 Hours per week, Monday 8.15 am – 3.45 pm,
Tuesday – Friday, 8.15 am – 4.15 pm
39 working weeks per year
Scale 5, Point Range 10 - 13 (Actual salary £23,742 - £24,916 pa)
We are looking to recruit a friendly, enthusiastic, organised and highly motivated individual to work as a Trips & Visits Coordinator. You will be responsible for the smooth running of all aspects of organising student trips and visits for the school, therefore excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required. A good working knowledge of SIMs, Word and Excel is essential.
