PASTORAL ASSISTANT

 

37 hours per week, Monday – Thursday, 8.00 am – 4.00 pm,

Friday 8.00 am – 3.30 pm

 

38.2 working weeks per year

 

Scale 5, Point 9 (Actual salary £22,134.13 pa)

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed, and adaptable person to join our busy Pastoral team. The right candidate will provide support to students and parents in terms of behaviour, attitude, attendance and well-being to enable students to make good progress and engage in their learning.  

Previous experience of working with children (11-16) and experience of dealing with external agencies would be an advantage. The successful candidate will have excellent and efficient organisational skills, strong interpersonal skills combined with strong literacy, numeracy and ICT skills (Microsoft Office & SIMS). They will also have a calm and tactful approach, ability to work to tight deadlines and be emotionally resilient.

TECHNOLOGY TECHNICIAN

Required as soon as possible

 

32.5 hours per week, 39.2 working weeks (term time plus 1 week plus 1 Inset)

 

Monday – Friday 8.15 am – 3.15 pm (Hours negotiable)

 

Scale 4 pt 7 (actual salary 19,351.98 per annum)


 

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to provide support to the Technology department in the preparation and cleaning of lesson materials and maintenance of equipment.  Experience not essential, training will be provided.

AFTERNOON RECEPTIONIST

Required September 2025

18.75 hours per week Monday – Friday 12.30 – 4.15 pm

38.2 working weeks per year

Scale 3, Point 5 (Actual salary £10,528.98 pa)

 

We are looking for an enthusiastic person with relevant experience and a high level of personal drive to provide an efficient and friendly reception service for the school, acting as first point of contact for parents, pupils, staff and visitors.  At times you will also be required to provide administrative support to facilitate the smooth running of the school office, therefore a good working knowledge of Word and Excel is essential.

LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT

 

27.5 hours per week, 38.2 working weeks per year

Scale 3, Point 5, Actual salary £15,442.51 per annum

Fixed term until 31 August 2026

 

 

 

We seek enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to join our staff team.  Experience of working with secondary age children and/or working effectively as part of a team would be an advantage but not essential. GCSE grade C or 4 or above in English and Maths is preferable.  Induction training will be provided.
