TEACHER OF GIRLS PE TO COVER MATERNITY LEAVE

(Full Time/Part Time considered)

REQUIRED NOVEMBER 2024

Chelmer Valley is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented Teacher of Girls PE to teach classes across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.

You will have a natural flair for delivering creative and vibrant lessons which enthuse and motivate students to want to learn and achieve. You will have excellent communication skills and be enthusiastic about your professional development.  The successful candidate would be required to teach a wide range of age and abilities and have a strong enthusiasm for extra-curricular activities.

TEACHER OF MATHS

Required September 2024

Chelmer Valley High School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented Teacher of Maths to teach classes across Key Stage 3 and 4. The ability to also teach A level Maths be desirable. The successful candidate will be fully supported by a large, welcoming, and friendly Maths Department and joining an excellent teaching team.  The post would be suitable for an ECT or a teacher with experience.

Support Staff

BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION APPRENTICE

37 hours per week, full time

Monday–Thursday, 8.30 am – 4.30 pm, Friday 8.30 am – 4.00 pm

(25 days holiday to be taken during school closure)

21 month fixed contract

Actual salary £12,313.60 pa

 

An exciting training opportunity has arisen to become a Business Administration Apprentice at Chelmer Valley High School to gain a level 3 Diploma for Business Administration.  We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed, and adaptable individual to provide administrative support to facilitate the smooth running of the school office.

The successful candidate will have good communication and presentation skills, be able to work in a team or on their own initiative and hold a GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths Grade C/4 or above.

LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT

 

27.5 hours per week, 38.2 working weeks per year

Scale 3, Point 5, Actual salary £14,571.93 per annum

 

Fixed term until 31 August 2025

 

We seek enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to join our staff team.  Experience of working with secondary age children and/or working effectively as part of a team would be an advantage but not essential. GCSE grade C or 4 or above in English and Maths is preferable.  Induction training will be provided.
